Diamond Blu Wave injector curing system

I wanted to write you with my evaluation of the new Diamond Blu Wave injector curing system. After completing several repairs with the Blu Wave I can't say one negative thing about it. What I love the best is the ability to cure the repair under pressure.
Over the years I have cured many repairs under pressure using the old method of attaching the ultra violet lamp to the inside of the windshield or positioning the lamp on top the windshield as close to the injector bridge as close as possible. While this technique seemed to work I always wasn't completely sure that the UV rays from the lamp was penetrating completely around the repair. The new Diamond Blu Wave has taken all my fears away about the complete curing of a repair under pressure. When the Blu Wave light is activated it takes about one minute for complete curing of the resin. I have to admit that the first couple of Blu Wave curing' I left the lamp on about two minutes; I just couldn't believe that one minute was adequate, but it was.
I want to thank everybody who played a part in the development of the Blu Wave. It's a great product that will make my windshield repairs easier and give my customers a high quality repair.

A quick note to tell you how grateful I am

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how grateful I am for the referral you provided for Presto Property Services. It was truly a great experience for us.
We were hired to install some dusted crystal vinyl logos on our client’s brand new conference room table. The table top is comprised of 3 pieces of glass ¾” thick with the largest one 4’X8’ and approximately 350lbs.
While our shop employees were installing the logos, they noticed many rather large, deep scratches on the top side of the glass caused by the graphic mounting equipment. I charged our project manager with the task of finding a solution to this dilemma as we obviously could not deliver a damaged glass top to our customer.
After calling around all morning, he was told the glass was not restorable. The consensus was, “if you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it’s too deep to repair” The repair would damage and distort the glass and the repair would be unsightly and obvious. Upon hearing this, I instructed him to get quotes on replacing the glass. The estimates were in the $2,200 range with a 12-14 day turnaround. This was not a viable option because we were supposed to deliver the table that day.
I decided to search the internet for possible options myself and luckily came across the forum on your website. I immediately called and asked for a referral. You were kind enough to look through your records to see if anyone could help me. About 20 minutes later, I received a call from your referral. After a few questions, I was given a not to exceed price that was more than acceptable. They said “I can get someone out to you in the morning, unless you need someone sooner” I explained the situation about how the piece was already late, and he said, “if I can’t get someone out there today, I’ll come myself” AWSOME!
About 7:30 pm they showed up. We brought his equipment in and he took a look at the damage to the glass. I was very worried he was going to say “it’s too damaged for repair”, but instead he said, “I’ve taken out deeper scratches than these before.” I immediately felt better. I marked each scratch with tape and left him to do his best. After about and hour, he was done and the repairs were perfect! After they finished packing up all of his gear, I spotted a couple of scratches I missed on my initial assessment. Without hesitation, they immediately began setting up his equipment again. He said, “We had better make sure this is done right.” About 9:30 pm, he was done and the glass was perfect.
GT Glass Australia really saved my hide on this one. I would have really taken a loss on this project if I hadn’t come across the GT Glass forum and if Mark hadn’t taken the time to help me find a referral. Rather than take a huge loss on the project, I actually made a little money and the client is ecstatic about the table.

I started my first Glass Technology business in late '96 and did so well that within two years I had 2 Sub-contractors and was servicing 2 areas.
Having the 2 sub-contractors had allowed me the ability to increase the business as there were now 3 of us working. I was primarily in the area of sales, technical and logistical support. 2. Supply of Stock and Equipment
Most small businesses in Australia have mild to chronic liquidity problems. This is due in large part to unreliable suppliers of products and or services. This has never been the case in relation to Glass Technology Sunshine State. Having adopted a philosophy of "just in time buying" I found my cash flow was solid because I could always rely on prompt and speedy service from the franchisor. This had allowed me to invest money back into the growth of the business. Please let me state that in the 9 years of my association with the franchisor I have never ever been let down.
3. Support - Technical Direction and Networking
Being part of this franchise allows you to access the scope and depth of knowledge and experience gained and willingly shared by the Glass Technology Team.
Technical
On a few occasions I had a need to ask about particular problems with relation to head light repairs. One time I was on the phone for about an hour while I was walked through a very difficult repair. This was done without any reserve whatsoever and impressed me greatly. I have never had a problem that has not been able to be resolved either by phone or email, and I believe that this type of support is second to none.
Networking
Not many small businesses have the networking scope that is provided by Glass Technology Sunshine State and its Franchisees. With Mike, (Cairns) Scratch Hog Repairs. Scott,(Brisbane Southside) Taillight Repairs. John, (Gold Coast) Headlight Repairs and of course "me" who knew everything after 2 months (not). There is nothing that cannot be worked through. Someone will know.

I have known Mark and Michael from Glass Technology for several years now and have always had a good working relationship with their business. They are both friendly and efficient and have a good knowledge of their industry. I have used their services for windscreen repairs as well as repairs to damaged headlight and taillight lenses. The repairs are always completed promptly and are of a very high standard. I am constantly surprised at how well they are able to repair damaged lenses that would have otherwise been costly to replace. Most of the time any work is done on site and therefore time is not lost in preparing the vehicle for display on our yard.
